01Who we are

The Growth Bureau is a website design, photoshoot and social media studio based at Thane West, Maharashtra, India. We decide how personal data collected through this website is used, which makes us the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Questions about this policy go to thegrowthbureauu@gmail.com.

02What we collect

When you send the enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, your message, the time you sent it, and a record of your consent (which version of this policy you agreed to, and when).

When you email us: whatever you choose to include.

When you visit the site: our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't see this as a profile of you and don't combine it with anything else.

We don't use analytics, advertising pixels, tracking cookies or session recording. Nothing on this site follows you to other websites.

03Storage on your device

The site stores two small preferences in your own browser. They never leave your device and aren't sent to us:

NameTypePurposeKept for
tgb-themelocalStorageRemembers light or dark mode if you pull the cordUntil you clear it
tgb-seensessionStorageSkips the intro animation on later pages in the same visitUntil you close the tab

Because these are strictly for features you use and track nothing, the site doesn't need a cookie banner. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

04How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
  • To deliver work you hire us for, and to keep the records Indian law requires.
  • To keep the site and the enquiry form secure.

We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it. We won't add you to a marketing list. If we ever offer a newsletter, it will be a separate opt-in that you choose, with an unsubscribe link in every email.

05Our legal basis

We process enquiry data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the box on the form. If you become a client, we also process it to perform our agreement with you and to meet legal obligations such as tax records.

You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by emailing us. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew.

06Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

ProviderWhat for
Google LLC: Firebase HostingServing this website
Google LLC: Cloud FirestoreStoring enquiry form submissions
Google LLC: Firebase AuthenticationLetting our team sign in to read enquiries
Google LLC: GmailEmail conversations with you

These services may store data on servers outside India. We don't share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

07How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't become projects: deleted within 12 months of our last contact.
  • Client records: kept for the length of the project, then for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, then deleted.
  • Consent records: kept as long as the enquiry they belong to, so we can show what you agreed to.

08Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.

Email thegrowthbureauu@gmail.com with your request. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

09Children

Our services are for businesses. This site isn't intended for anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we'll delete them.

10Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a database whose access rules let anyone submit the form but let only our one verified account read, update or delete submissions.

12Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. The enquiry form records which version you agreed to.
